Hey, I'm Paula, founder and the creative heart behind Stoned Pony.
This label was born from a lifelong love of horses, rustic country style, and timeless design that tells a story.
The Journey & Our Roots
Stoned Pony launched in 2022 before pausing during life’s unexpected turns.
Now, with more purpose than ever, we’re back with premium fabrics, true-to-form sizing, and a wardrobe designed for dreamers and riders alike.
From Australian western clothing to heritage-inspired equestrian apparel, each piece carries our story.
My love for horses and country life started young in New Zealand, spending afternoons in the paddocks and stable days with friends. That passion for the spirit of the horse continued into my adult life. I also spent a lot of time on a friend's family acreage in my twenties which deepened my connection to those rustic, hardworking roots.
Although life has shifted from the country to the coast on the Gold Coast, my appreciation for Australian farm life and the hardworking country style we celebrate remains central to the brand.
We experienced years of precious memories with my daughter’s rescued mare, Tequila, who gave us strength. The loyalty and healing nature of the horses we have known reminds me daily why Stoned Pony exists. Our lives, our stories, and our clothing are all tied to the spirit of the horse.
What Drives Us
Designed in Australia, our range of equestrian hoodies, western t-shirts, horse riding clothing and everyday western streetwear is made on demand to reduce waste and overproduction.
We value sustainability, slow fashion, and that country-meets-city versatility.

Our Bigger Vision: Survivors & Support
As a survivor of domestic violence, this mission is the heart of Stoned Pony. It made me determined to build something safe, strong and future-focused.
This commitment to rising and moving forward is reflected in our rearing pony emblem, which faces right to symbolise healing, flourishing and forward momentum.
Our bigger vision is to one day create a mind-body-soul retreat for survivors escaping to safety. A place where women, children and their animals are welcome.
Our limited-edition pieces will help raise funds toward making that dream a reality, building awareness and support in the process.
